Our BOOTS AND BLING Dinner and Auction was held on March 7,2020 at the Shriner’s Hall in St Augustine. With dinner by Johnny’s Fried Chicken, music by Sam Pacetti, and a silent and live auction that included items from 135 generous local businesses and individuals, it was a great success!
After expenses, our auction netted $12,200. But unexpectedly, in the weeks immediately preceding and following the event, we received another $18,000 in donations from dozens of individuals who expressed a desire to support our mission with a cash contribution.
At the event MESH’s founder, Terry Pacetti was recognized and awarded a plaque. We also acknowledged the in-kind donations throughout the year of Rusty Collins for legal services, and David Nails (SWIP-A-LOT) for web-site management and technical advice.
